He dropped out of vocational school early to fully dedicate himself to a professional career inbilliards .Growing up in a family that runs a pool hall, he was first introduced to the sport at the age of nine and practiced daily after school. Between the ages of 16 and 17, he began actively participating in various pool tournaments in the Tianjin area, where he earned numerous honors.
He met the renowned player Tong Lu during a competition. Following an introduction by a friend, he began formal training with Tong Lu in June 2019. His playing style is remarkably similar to Tong Lu's, characterized by its sharp and fast nature, which has earned him the nickname 'Little Tong Lu.' At the end of 2020, he signed a contract with the Laili brand .
