VIII. Competition Time & Venue

•Competition Dates: October 20, 2025 – October 29, 2025

•Competition Venue: Zhangjiagang City Sports Stadium, No. 48 Renmin Middle Road, Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province

•Opening Ceremony Time:19:00, October 22, 2025

Note to Main Event Qualifiers:All players who have qualified for the main event are required to attend the opening ceremony punctually, adhering to the designated dress code (upper garment: the official competition shirt provided by the organizing committee; trousers: formal dress pants; shoes: dark-colored leather shoes). After completing the check-in process, players should collect their main event credentials according to the specified procedure. Players who fail to collect their credentials on time will be solely responsible for any consequences that prevent their normal participation in the main event.

IX. Registration Method & Deadline

1.Registration Fees:

•Preliminary Qualifiers: Registration fee is RMB 500. Players who advance to the main event must pay an additional RMB 500.

•Direct Main Event Entry: The registration fee is RMB 1,000 (Due to system limitations, this must be paid in two installments of RMB 500 each). The deadline for main event players and qualifiers to pay the additional fee is 20:00 on October 22.

•Fee Refund Policy: Players under 14 years of age and female players will have their registration fee refunded upon completion of the entire competition. The fee will not be refunded to those who withdraw midway through the event.

2.Required Personal Information for Registration: Name, Gender, ID Number, Telephone Number, Bank Card Number, Account Holder Name, and commercial patch information (limited to one personal logo, with dimensions not exceeding 8cm * 3.5cm).

3.Registration Start Date: September 15, 2025

 

4.Registration Deadline: Registration will close once all spots are filled, with a final deadline of 20:00 (8:00 PM) on October 19, 2025.

5.Withdrawal Policy: Players who withdraw without a valid reason after registration and payment, or who withdraw during the competition, will not receive any prize money for that tournament stop.

X. Competition Format:

1. Governed by the General Rules of Chinese Billiards Competition(Revised in January 2017) promulgated by the Chinese Billiards Association (CBSA). 

2.The Finals are divided into the Qualifying Stage and the Final Stage. The Qualifying Stage uses the winner-breaks format, while the Final Stage uses the alternate-break format. The triangle rack will be used for racking throughout the entire competition 




3.Qualifying Stage:

•Adopts an open registration format. Entry is limited to 128 players per day. The stage adopts a single-elimination format, with matches played as best-of-13 frames (first to 7 frame wins).

•The Qualifying Stage lasts for three days. Each day, 16 players (48 total) advance to the first phase of the Final Stage 

4.Final Stage:

•Phase I:Participants include players ranked 33rd to 176th in the 2024 LCBA Chinese Pool Ranking Tour points standings (144 players) plus the 48 qualifiers, totaling 192 players. The competition format is double-elimination, with matches being a race to 9 frames. Players are divided into 24 groups of 8. The top 2 players from the winners bracket and the top 2 from the losers bracket in each group (96 players total) advance to Phase II 

•Phase II: Participants include players ranked 1st to 32nd in the 2024 LCBA Chinese Pool Ranking Tour points standings (32 players) plus the 96 players advancing from Phase I, totaling 128 players. The format is double-elimination, with matches being a race to 11 frames. Players are divided into 16 groups of 8. The top player from the winners bracket and the top player from the losers bracket in each group (32 players total) advance to Phase III 

•Phase III: The 32 players advancing from Phase II compete in a single-elimination bracket. The round of 32 to 16 is a race to 13 frames. The rounds of 16 to 8 and quarter-finals (8 to 4) are a race to 15 frames. The semi-finals and the third-place match are a race to 17 frames. The championship final is a race to 23 frames, and will be divided into the first half and the second half.

5. Draw (Seeding Arrangements):
(1) Qualifying Stage (Single-Elimination): For each day's competition, the seeding positions and quantity for the Qualifying Stage (single-elimination) will be determined based on the participants' latest LCBA Chinese Pool Ranking points. Seeded players will be placed according to their ranking order .
(2) Final Stage - Phase I (192 players, Double-Elimination):For the Final Stage Phase I (192 players, double-elimination), seeding positions will be assigned according to the latest LCBA Chinese Pool Ranking points using a snake system. Each group will have 2 seeded players. Players advancing from the Qualifying Stage and the remaining non-seeded players will be placed by a random draw.
(3) Final Stage - Phase II (128 players, Double-Elimination):For the Final Stage Phase II (128 players, double-elimination), there will be 64 seeding positions. The top 32 players in the latest LCBA Chinese Pool Ranking will be seeded and placed into positions 1 and 8 of each group according to their ranking using the snake system. The next 32 seeding positions (positions 4 and 5) will be allocated to the 48 players advancing from the Winners Bracket of Phase I, based on their performance ranking in Phase I (higher rank prioritized). If players have identical records, their order will be decided by lot. The remaining 64 players (16 from Winners Bracket advancement and 48 from Losers Bracket advancement in Phase II) will be drawn by lot to fill the remaining vacant positions.
(4) Final Stage - Phase III (32 players, Single-Elimination):For the Final Stage Phase III (32 players, single-elimination), the 16 players advancing from the Winners Bracket of Phase II will be seeded into positions 1 through 16 using the snake system, based on their performance ranking in Phase II (higher rank prioritized). If players have identical records, their order will be decided by lot. The 16 players advancing from the Losers Bracket of Phase II will be placed by a random draw.

6. Time Management:
(1) For matches officiated by a dedicated referee, a shot clock of 45 seconds will be enforced. A warning will be given when 10 seconds remain, followed by a verbal count down for the final 5 seconds.
(2) Each player is allowed to request one 45-second extension per game, including the deciding game.
(3) For matches monitored by area roving officials, timing is generally not strictly enforced. However, the Chief Referee reserves the right to impose the shot clock for any match if a player is deemed to be intentionally delaying the game.

7. Breaks:
(1) There are no scheduled breaks during the Qualifying Stage matches.
(2) During the Final Stage, after every 8 consecutive frames played in a match, the two players may take a mutual break of up to 5 minutes.
(3) Players are not permitted to leave the playing area arbitrarily at other times. In case of special circumstances, players must notify the referee and may only leave after obtaining permission. Violations will be penalized according to the regulations

8. Handicap Rules (Age-Based):
(1) Male players competing against opponents under 14 years oldshall give a one-game handicap(spot the under-14 player one game).
(2) Female players competing against opponents under 14 years old (children or juveniles) shall play evenly(no handicap).

9. Handicap Rules :
Male players shall spot a one-game handicap when competing against opponents under 14 years of age; female players shall play evenly against opponents under 14 years of age.

10. Registration Requirements:
Players must register using the name as it appears on their ID Card and must provide their ID number and contact phone number during registration.

Note: Players who advance to the Top 16 will have 20% of their prize money withheld as the event's promotion fund. All bonuses will be distributed exclusively via bank transfer. Award-winning players are requested to prepare a bank card under their own name. Delays in receiving prize money may occur for players who fail to provide their bank card information promptly.

XII. Ranking Bonus

1.Reward Method:
Top 32 players in the LCBA ranking standings will receive a ranking bonus of RMB 1,000 per person for attending the LCBA Ranking Tour Finals. If a player is unable to participate due to personal reasons, their spot will be filled in order of their ranking until 32 players are confirmed 

2.Player Obligation:Players are obligated to inform the organizing committee in advance if they change their contact information. Players who cannot be contacted due to unreachable contact details will forfeit their seeded status, and the responsibility lies solely with the player 


XIII. Referees
The referees shall be appointed by the organizing unit
XIV. Participant Requirements:

1.All players must adhere to the tournament's discipline, comply with the arrangements made by the organizing committee, and respect the referees. 

2.Players must report to the registration area 10 minutes before the scheduled start of each round. If a player is up to 5 minutes late after the Head Referee declares the match started, they will lose one frame; being more than 10 minutes late will be treated as a forfeit of the match. 

3.If a player disagrees with a referee's decision, they may appeal to the Head Referee after the ruling is made and before their next shot. If unsatisfied with the Head Referee's decision, a further appeal can be made to the tournament committee, whose decision is final. 

4.Live streamers must register with the tournament committee to obtain a work permit, work with the permit displayed, and accept the live broadcast arrangements made by the committee. 

5.Smoking is prohibited in the competition area. Players must set their mobile phones to vibrate or silent mode while in the venue. 

6.Players must adhere to the dress code: upper body must be the official competition shirt provided by the committee, lower body must be dark-colored dress trousers, and dark-colored formal leather shoes are required. Shirts must be tucked into the trousers. Jeans and sports shoes are not permitted. Players not meeting the dress code may be barred from competing by the tournament committee. 

7.Without prior permission, players are not allowed to participate in other commercial events or promotional activities during the tournament. 

8.Alcohol abuse and any form of gambling are strictly prohibited during the tournament. 

9.The tournament committee has the right to decide the content and format of chest logos worn by players during the event. Any other commercial identifiers must be approved by the tournament committee and applied for filing before the competition begins. 

10.Players are allowed to wear only one personal commercial identifier, with dimensions not exceeding 8cm x 3.5cm. Identifiers of other sizes or irregular shapes are prohibited. 

11.Players must wear the designated identifiers provided by the tournament committee and keep them safe until the award ceremony concludes. Awards will be withheld if these identifiers are lost. 

12.Any illegal or unethical behavior is strictly forbidden. 

13.Players are responsible for their personal safety, property, and travel safety. They must purchase personal accident insurance for the duration of the competition. Participation implies acceptance of this rule. 

14.Violation of any of the above requirements will result in disqualification from the competition.

XV. Final Provisions:
The tournament committee reserves the final right to interpret these regulations. Matters not covered herein will be addressed through separate notifications.
